Inflation is an Illegal Tax on the People
Inflation is a pernicious, corrosive and diabolical tax on the citizenship. It bypasses the vote and approval of citizens while enriching the government and its shadow masters. Inflation makes the currency worth less. So the largest borrower, the government, pays back its debt with cheaper money.
Inflation steals the wealth of the citizens by increasing the prices of good and services the citizens need to purchase. Higher prices make them poorer as they must pay more of their money for the things they need. The result is they have less money left to carry out their lives and prosper.Inflation harms the poor while it is a gnat to the wealthy. The least fortunate members of society must make terrible decisions because of inflation. To pay for gasoline and rent many have to downgrade their food choices and even forgo meals in order to survive.
The people should not tolerate politicians who engage in inflationary actions unless they bring their reasons for any such actions to the people and get their approval by voting on specific legislation. A proper discussion with the people must also include actions to mitigate harm to our most vulnerable members of society.
When we are all poor and slaves then the tyrants will no longer need to listen to us. They will just “disappear” us.
Never in the history of the world has it been so critical to defend your liberty and freedom and basic universal rights.
If deaf and dumb we gleefully give our rights away then we will all be lost.—-
